2023 has been an extremely fruitful year for me and the team. After my post-grad studies, I have more time to work on team building to nurture like-minded associates in our business. My health and well-being has significantly improved and I certainly hope the same for you too.

The bulk of last year was spent on building the capabilities of my associates, and to enhance ways to improve our efficiency issues in terms of claims, outreach and investment analysis. I received many student interns last year to assist me on these issues, and they have produced great results.

My internships will be credit-bearing and are personalised based on what they have learnt so far or want to learn. This means the students will be able to offset academic credits in school after their 10-week internship with me. As far as I know, this is only internship in our industry that is credit-bearing. I promise that it would not only be very intellectually-stimulating but also academically relevant to their course of work.

I have completed the Agency Management Training Course (AMTC), an internationally recognised skills-based programme designed to help managers fully develop and sharpen 28 management skills in the industry. It is a 25-week course and I will be conferred the Level 3 Accreditation (the highest tier) with the Institute of Banking and Finance Singapore this August. This will provide me a strong foundation as I will be expanding our manpower by 2 to 3 pax this year.

As you would have known, my team and I would like to stand out as a knowledge-based group that aims to equip our consultants with the best skills and henceforth uplift the image of the industry.
